Bundling Up

A few days ago, snowfall hit Dallas pretty unexpectedly, and although it melted just as quickly as it fell, the freezing (or just above) temperatures have persisted. Winter came, literally, overnight. I’ve actually had to start bundling up, which is something of a hassle.

A watercolor illustration-montage I’m working on, entitled Fox in the Snow (inspired by the Belle & Sebastian song)

      Thanks Lynn! It was SO hard to write the characters in the brush I was using. I mean, it was hard enough to write in roman letters, much less kanji/hiragana. ^^;;;

    I LOVE the print! I would be interested in seeing it finished and perhaps purchasing as a print? =}

    Hehe, I think I brought Seattle weather to Dallas and took the Dallas weather back with me to Seattle. Right after my trip, it’s bright and sunny here, and cold, rainy and snowy over there.

    Love the lighting in the photo, and your watercolour looks great! Did you sketch first, or do you freehand?

    That faux-fur definitely does look warm and comfy. Just the right thing for this cold season!
