In about 10 hours I’ll be packing into a van with my boyfriend’s family to visit Lake Travis (near Austin, TX). While I’m excited to be paying Austin a proper visit for the first time in years, I’m not looking forward to the projected 100-degree weather. At least it’s supposed to stay around 80°F at night?

my friends and i just took a day trip to austin yesterday. we hit up barton springs, which was sooooo neat! have you been there? we also hung around downtown to watch the bats come out from under the congress bridge and did a little shopping earlier in the afternoon. but man oh man was it hot! we walked around about 6:30 pm and i was dripping sweat w/ in 5 min of being outside. guess summer is here. :/
hope you have a fun time! i’ve never been to lake travis. austin is definitely fun. i haven’t spent much time there either, but i really want to go back.
