Puppy Post

Whenever I resolve to be a better blogger, life whisks me down some unpredictable path that prevents me from updating regularly. For instance, at the moment, I am occupied with a graphic and webdesign project for a food truck! I never thought I’d see my designs driving around the street, but in less than a month, people all over DFW will – so I’m incredibly excited! I’ll share more on that in a couple of weeks when the project draws to a close, because I’m sure many of you Dallas/Dentonites will be interested.

Malone the labrador puppy
On the subject of life’s unpredictability, let me introduce Malone: the young lab-mix puppy that we found outside of my friend Marcus’ house. When we returned from an art show at around midnight, we found him cowering in the shadows of his porch. He’s so dark, we almost didn’t see him at first! My friend Jessica took him home to feed and bathe him since he was covered in fleas. We’re sort of hoping that he doesn’t have an owner, because Jessica already loves him so much! He’s been such a little sweetheart – even my little bunny doesn’t mind having him around, and she usually doesn’t like other dogs. (Although she did pick a fight with him when she found him chewing on one of her favorite toys.)

And of course, an obligatory picture of my little bunny (who still remains nameless, but I’m calling her “bunny” for now):

Even though Bunny has a good six months on him, Malone is nearly as tall, and he’s already heavier than her! At the moment, though, I think my little girl is enjoying being the bigger puppy.

Sorry for the short update – I hope these adorable puppies will suffice for a post! Back to work!
