For as long as I can remember, I have been enthralled with the occult. Ouija boards, tarot cards, spellbooks, ghost stories – anything pagan or witchy. I attribute my fascination with witchcraft to my New Orleans heritage (as you probably know, it is famous for its voodoo) and my Catholic upbringing. Although I don’t consider myself superstitious or religious, there is something intensely alluring (dare I make a bad pun, bewitching?) about the aesthetics of the occult. Below are some wardrobe and accessory selections influenced by it:

ROW 1: Pyramid of Power black ritual candle by Artisan Witchcrafts, $19.95 // Oversized crescent tee by Wildfox, $85 // Thorn bangles by Alkemie, $99
ROW 2: Skull & cross brooch pack from TopShop, $28 // Pentagram Cuff by Pamela Love via BonaDrag, $368 // “Rowin” black lace up boots by Sam Edelman, $195
ROW 3: Moon duster maxi by Free People, $88 // Sweet lace mini dress by One Teaspoon, $108 // Black Orchid by Tom Ford

I was JUST ruminating over those boots minutes ago! Our tastes are so scarily similar at times. Love this whole post.

Same! I just wish it wasn’t so expensive! They are made in the US (and incredibly soft), so that’s nice… but still! IT’S A SHIRT!
