Flowers and Bows

When it comes to making a purchase of any sort, I’m usually obsessive about it. As a financially-independent college student, I can’t really afford to be any other way. When I see something I want, I pin it, research it, save for it… I even keep Excel spreadsheets so that I can budget my fashion purchases for the next few months.

But fashion moves so fast; if you wait to buy something that you love, it could be gone by the time you’re ready for it. This is where Yoox comes in handy. I recently scored these beautiful Chloé shoes from the Spring 2007 collection from their site, which recently restocked their Chloé selection with shoes from all of my favorite seasons (even some from Fall and Spring ’06). I know a lot of people think reissues are cheating, but for me, it’s a great way to determine how much I love something if I still want it years after it first hit the runway.

I’m a bit sad that they sold out of this iconic Chloé wedge in my size, but I’m not too bitter, as I’m quite in love with these too!

These shoes are beautiful! I always want to deliberate on a purchase before I buy – but m favourite things always sell out so fast – so reissues sound perfect to me!

oh my gosh! I’m not one for spending an excessive amount of money on clothing, but I have always wanted a pair of Chloe shoes. This website is amazing, and just might encourage me to save up and make a purchase. I can’t decide which are my favourites!

oh my gosh! I’ve been eyeing a pair of similar chloe’s on yoox too, but I’ve been having the worst luck getting any reviews online about them. maybe you could answer my questions? Are they any bit comfortable? do they run small?

    Thanks! Love your blog!

Hey Kylie! Thank you so much! I find that the Chloés are both true to size and fairly comfortable (for heels, haha). I am a US 7.5, and I bought a 37.5 in these Chloés – so I would say they run pretty true-to-size. However, I have another pair of Chloés that are a 38 that fit very snugly, so I guess it just depends on the shoe! My 38s have a pointy toe, which is probably why they run smaller, whereas the flatter-toed Chloés (like the maryjanes in my recent post) seem to run more true-to-size, if that makes any sense!

They are quite comfortable, although since they’re new, I have had some blistering on the side of my foot near the big toe (I was walking a lot, though). Even that considered, they are still much more comfortable than some of my other heels. Very easy to walk in!
