Last summer, I undertook the project of renovating an old pair of Levi’s into a pair of the perfect summer cut-offs. Needless to say, my attempt ended most unsuccessfully with the trashiest pair of daisy dukes, and my dreams of owning the perfect pair of homegrown cut-off shorts were dashed. So I began saving for what I believed to be the most ideal, hip-hugging, frayed, bleached, and pocket-dangly pair of cut-offs ever: the One Teaspoon Bonita shorts. They run a little bit big (US size 2 is the smallest they go), but I actually prefer the slouch.

I really wish I could get away with teeny shorts without unsolicited commets from creepers. They look so cute and comfy! They’re really flattering on you, and I love the wash!

Super cute, and I can also say that I’ve ruined a good pair of jeans before in an attempt to make cut-offs. It’s not easy!
