I keep seeing this photo get tossed around the internet without credit and so I’m finally posting it here and establishing it as mine.
Every year when the Agent Provocateur summer and winter sales roll around, I go crazy. I’m of the opinion that few things are nicer than beautiful lingerie; if you feel good, you look good, even if no one else can see what you’re wearing underneath. When the sale first went online a few weeks ago, I passed up the chance to buy the Love basque that I’d been wanting for ages (it was only $50!) because I choked on the $20 shipping fee. Agent Provocateur just opened up a U.S. distribution warehouse, so I have no idea why the shipping is still exorbitant. Nonetheless, I’m having some serious regrets about missing that basque (as the Love bra is one of my favorites that I own). As consolation, I’m seriously eying some of the below pieces:
Left: Lucienne Pinafore – I’m not sure where or when I would ever wear this but it’s so beautiful and vintage-looking.
Right: Françoise in blue (bra) – The first time I visited an AP boutique, I tried on this bra and fell in love. Seriously one of the most comfortable bras I have ever put on… heavily debating it in either this color or the classic pink & black style.
Left: Laurie bra, $50 – I want this so badly! I don’t normally wear padded bras (or polka dots), but this one is just too cute.
Right: Janna knickers, $40 – These look so comfortable and cute. I love the skirted look (and I wish they still had black in my size…)
My sister bought the Tilly bra, which is just gorgeous. I love the big, sheer flowers along the neck. Which items are you lusting after? Have you splurged on anything in the sale?

The Lucienne Pinafore is absolutely darling! As for what’s on the lust list, the entire Emenuell range is driving me mad. I love the color combination and the lace and lines of the suspender are ridiculous.

YES! So true about the Emenuell. It was one that I had passed over when I was browsing the site a few months ago, but one of my Tumblr friends bought it recently, and it looked stunning. I can’t believe I didn’t notice it before.

I’m having a hard time because I’m kind of crushing on everything… and then they sold out of the Laurie bra in my size and now I am just sad :(. The Mariett range is darling with its little embroidered flowers and Orchid seems so perfect as a winter set. If I end up getting out of my “dammit I missed lingerie” funk, I’ll buy something and review it on my blog.

I’m totally crushing on the Laurie bra and wondering if I could fudge with a larger cup/smaller band since they’re out of my size. Sigh.

So much beautiful lingerie! I was having problems with their website showing me things that weren’t actually in stock. They kept disappearing from my cart during check-out. But in the end I did make a purchase. More pricey than I would like (especially with the shipping–eek!), but quality underwear is so important, so it is worth it! I’m used to paying an arm and a leg for bras in my size already.
Now as I look through the website again it is showing me many more items in my size than just 10 minutes ago. Is it always like this during the sales?

Maybe it is switching between the UK and US sites for you? I have never encountered this specific problem, but it sounds super frustrating. :(
