This past weekend, my sister and I took an overnight trip to Austin to get out of Denton for a few days. Although we were only in town for a night, we packed in some vintage shopping, a stop by Toy Joy, and a trip to the Hamilton Pool just west of the city (in a town called “Bee Cave” of all things). The pool is a collapsed cave with a swimming hole at the bottom, perfectly shaded by the overhanging cave roof. Although the pool was packed with visitors by 9am, it definitely made the trip worthwhile.
I also finally got to debut my new Wildfox Marilyn swimsuit, which is easily the most moe thing I own. Worn with sunglasses from Tobi and shorts by One Teaspoon.

So beautiful–you, the cave, and the photos! The first photo especially is so striking.
I looked into this spot when we were in Austin last month, but Joseph since can’t swim all I can do was daydream!

Aw, that’s sad you didn’t get to go! It really isn’t very deep though – more of a wading pool. The deepest it got I think was around my shoulders, but we didn’t even go in that far. Most of the pool is about knee-to-waist deep!

Oh wow, what a magical place! I can’t imagine how refreshing it must have been to swim right outside the cave like that. :) btw… cute swimsuit! Very different than what you see now a days — a good thing!
