Let me just say that I have made several attempts at photographing this beautiful dress – attempts which have left me with exactly one fairly grainy black and white photo with hair that looks like I rolled out of bed* and a pimple that I’m calling a “beauty mark.”** I do what I can.
But in all seriousness, the Shimmy Shimmy dress lives up to its name – having tested it on the dance floors of Dallas’ Beauty Bar, I can safely say that it will win you no small amount of attention and that it’s perfect for twirling, grinding, and taking shots. It might even get you a kiss on New Year’s Eve. Any previous misgivings you might have had about sequins should be set aside for this dress – its vintage flavor, incredible detail, and long draping make it absolutely timeless.

** I get the same recurring cheek pimple every single month. I’m sure some of you ladies can relate
