]]> Very rarely these days do I come across an editorial as decadent as Tim Walker’s “Lady Grey” editorial for Vogue Italia (March 2010). The copious beads and overflowing tulle; satin ballet shoes and hardwood floors; exquisite molding and chandeliers juxtaposed against peeling paint; bunny masks and bug ears: the amalgamation of these elements capture an antiquated aesthetic and place it in a wholly modern context that pits beauty against decay, and classicism against satire. In the same spirit as Kelly Ann, I could not not share it. Below are a few of my favorites from the editorial. Click the thumbnails to enlarge.
