About three years ago, I bought this one-strap See by Chloé dress for my boyfriend’s graduation. At the time it was the singlemost expensive thing I’d ever bought – I think at around $375? Anyway, you can bet that if I spend that much on a dress, I will figure out a way to wear it year round, even if it’s only intended for summer. Here I’ve twisted up the bottom and matched it with a Helmut Lang blazer, some jeans, and black booties.

Favorite Dress November 4, 2009

Out of my entire wardrobe (which is unexpetedly small, actually), my favorite dress is this very autumn-esque dress from See by Chloé. The mustard shade of yellow is so complimentary of any hair color, that through my four (?) major hair changes over the past two years, it has never failed to match my look.

I was so in love with this dress that I bought the last available size in all of Nordstrom – which happened to be 3 sizes too big! Because it’s so loose on me, I usually style it with a black sash.
